This war was a tricky conflict to determine the main topic as I scrolled through online images. I wanted to find something specific and repeated throughout these images of the Korean war but that was fairly hard to find. Since I was finding the main topic to pinpoint slightly hard to determine for the Korean War, I decided I had a little bit of freedom when it came to determining this conflict. I choose an image on of a soldier with a rifle slung over his soldier, looking out into the distance over some countryside. It was almost like this soldier had been set post, and scouting out an area, looking for enemy troops. I went with this image as my reference for my artwork, for I thought the image of this person represented some kind of sacrifice. I mean this in a way that this person had set a post to look out for enemy troops, putting his life on the line for his fellow soldiers. Many people can interpret this image differently, but this is how I determined this image.
