The final section of my artwork. This section was the hardest section to determine the main topic because I found it very hard to find the main reference when I searched for ‘The Iraq War’. I decided to just simply choose an image of this war that spoke to me. I found an image of a soldier fully clothed in uniform standing on a bare landscape holding up a large flag, blowing in the wind. This flag was an American flag, for the US was involved in this conflict, but I wanted to include this image, for to me it is a sign of victory and power, for one is proudly holding up your country’s flag.
