The Rising Sun

Australian Army Badge

In my artwork, as the central piece, I included the Australian Army Rising Sun, the seventh pattern. This pattern was created in 1991 and was an updated version of a previous rising sun emblem. This emblem was created back in 1902, with the first design being called ‘The first pattern.’ This badge and variations have been worn by Australian troops since 1902.
