Again, following the process of looking through internet images, the Anglo-Iraqi war had a couple of repeated items as I looked through Google. I continually saw images of diver planes, dry landscapes, and large amounts of men, who are protected by walls of sandbags stacked on top of each other. Since I had a couple of choices to pick from when it came to my artwork, I wanted to also include some war machinery that would have been used during any of these wars occurring. Planes were one of the main items that popped up when I searched this topic, so this was a good excuse to include planes in my artwork. There was much machinery used in all 10+ wars that I thought it would be appropriate to include planes in my artwork for they are also a part of Australian history.
